Rachel has backed the campaign to save Redditch Post Office.
The branch at Threadneedle House in the town centre is one of more than 100 branches facing closure.
The Post Office is looking at options for its wholly-owned branches, which currently employ around 1,000 workers across the UK.
Rachel said:
"The Post Office in Redditch Town Centre is a vital service and lifeline for many residents which we need to keep.
"This must be an uncertain and stressful time for the Post Office’s hardworking and dedicated staff.
"I’m therefore fully supportive of the campaign to save Redditch Post Office. I hope all residents can come together to back efforts to fight the planned closure.
"I’ve always believed in the art of the possible and so I urge everyone involved to explore all options possible to keep the Post Office open.
"We can all play our part by signing the petition and ensuring our voices are heard. I have and I would encourage everyone to do the same."
