I was bitterly disappointed with the ruling of the Supreme Court last week against the Government's Rwanda plan. I believe in strong borders and that it is the right of each sovereign nation to control who comes in, and who does not.

Since I’ve been your MP, I’ve voted for stronger immigration controls and new laws that make clear that, if you come here illegally, you won’t get to stay in the UK.

As the Government reshapes its approach in light of the Supreme Court's decision, I am keen to gather my constituents' views so I can hold the Government to account from the backbenches.
