Rachel has welcomed investment in a brand-new playground in Winyates.
The Conservative-led Redditch Borough Council invested £40,000 in this site in Tenacres as part of its playground investment scheme.
It’s one of a number of new playgrounds across the town, including Arrow Valley Country Park, Mayfields Park, Birchfield Road, Forge Mill and the Multi-Use Games Area under construction in Greenlands.
Rachel said:
“We’re working hard to make sure Redditch is a great place to live and raise a family and investing in brand-new playgrounds is a key part of that.
“This investment being delivered by the Conservative-led Borough Council follows other investments we’ve seen in parks across Redditch from Arrow Valley to Headless Cross – clear proof we’re delivering for everyone in our wonderful town."
Peter Fleming, Councillor for Winyates, added:
“Our Unlock Redditch mission has come to the heart of Winyates with this new playground. At £40,000, this is one of the biggest investments in Winyates East in decades and I’m pleased it’s been delivered by this Conservative-led Council.”
