“A brand new Railway Station is at the heart of our vision for the future of Redditch.
“We’ve desperately needed a new station for some time, and today my colleagues at Worcestershire County Council have delivered on the promise of a £10 million station for our town after it was approved by Cabinet.
“It will improve the welcome visitors receive to our town, whilst at the same time being built in a way which, in the future, will help us to deliver on our ambition of four trains per hour into Redditch.
“This is about the future and providing Redditch with a station fit for the 21st Century. We need to keep looking forwards, not back.
“We’re the team with a plan to unlock Redditch’s full potential. We’re the team delivering for our town.”
