“The UK economy remains more resilient than many feared, especially in the face of inflation, exacerbated by Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine, which is slowing economic growth around the world.
“Despite this, our economy is continuing to grow – demonstrating that the Government’s plan is working.
“Economic growth is good for jobs and for our public services. We’ve also seen in Redditch in recent years the growth in the number of businesses in our constituency.
“There is certainly more to do, but by sticking to our plan to halve inflation this year, we can be confident of having amongst the best prospects for growth of anywhere in Europe, while protecting the most vulnerable as we manage global economic pressures.”
