Rachel has submitted evidence to the Government’s Rural Connectivity Champion as part of her ongoing efforts to secure mobile connectivity improvements.
Back in July, the MP for Redditch and the Villages met with the Government's Rural Connectivity Champion, Simon Fell MP, and to support his work, Rachel has gathered evidence of how mobile connectivity issues are hampering businesses and residents across the constituency.
A number of residents and businesses completed Rachel’s survey and shared their experiences of how poor mobile connectivity is affecting their lives and businesses.
The evidence Rachel has collected has now been submitted to the Government’s Rural Connectivity Champion and will help make the case for specific measures to be taken to improve connectivity in the areas that struggle most with poor signal.
Rachel said:
“Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete my survey. The evidence you’ve provided has now been submitted to the Government’s Rural Connectivity Champion as part of his work to improve mobile connectivity.
“In 2023, no one should suffer from poor mobile connectivity, and by working with the Government, I’m determined to deliver improvements here in Redditch and the Villages.”
